Dr. Michael Fey received a pharmacy degree and a general dentistry degree from the University of Washington before completing a combined orthodontic and pediatric dentistry specialty program at the same institution. He has served on the University of Washington Department of Orthodontic faculty for 16 years and was director of Orthodontic Services at Children's Hospital in Seattle for four years.

While an avid golfer and fly-fisherman, much of Dr. Fey's activities are centered on his family, which in addition to his wife includes five grown children and their families.
